Walker Evans
Walker Evans was an American photographer and photojournalist who gained recognition for documenting the effects of the Great Depression for the Resettlement Administration and the Farm Security Administration. He primarily utilized a large format, 8x10-inch view camera for his New Deal projects. Evans aimed to create images that were literate, authoritative, and transcendent.
