Piotr Uklanski

Piotr Uklański is a Polish-American contemporary artist, director, and photographer active since the mid-1990s. His practice explores themes of spectacle, cliché, and modern art tropes by subverting familiar subjects, as seen in his notable 1996 installation, Untitled. His work has been exhibited at institutions including the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Migros Museum of Contemporary Art.
