Peyo

Pierre Culliford, known by the pseudonym Peyo, was a Belgian cartoonist, writer, and artist associated with the Marcinelle school. He is best recognized for creating the comic book series The Smurfs and Johan and Peewit. Throughout his career, he worked as a screenwriter, caricaturist, and film director, leaving a significant legacy in the medium of comics.
