Nancy Graves

Nancy Graves was an American sculptor, painter, printmaker, and filmmaker whose work focused on natural phenomena, including camels and lunar cartography. Her career reached an early milestone at age 29 when she became the youngest artist and fifth woman to receive a solo exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Her pieces are held in numerous public collections, such as the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the National Gallery of Art.
