Kazimir Malevich

Kazimir Severinovich Malevich (1879–1935) was a Russian avant-garde artist and art theorist. His work and writings were instrumental in the development of 20th-century abstract painting. He is recognized as the founder of Suprematism, a non-objective style of painting he introduced in 1915.
