Jacques Ranciere

Jacques Rancière is a French philosopher and Professor of Philosophy at the European Graduate School, as well as an Emeritus Professor at the University of Paris VIII. Initially known for his collaboration on Reading Capital, his later work shifted away from Althusserian Marxism to focus on political philosophy and aesthetics. His extensive body of writing explores the intersection of art, politics, and social structures.
