Gustav Klimt

Gustav Klimt was an Austrian symbolist painter and a founding member of the Vienna Secession movement. His work, which helped define the Art Nouveau style, frequently explored the female body through allegories, portraits, and landscapes. He is best known for his works The Kiss and Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I, as well as his notable influence from Japanese art.
