Gary Gutting

Gary Michael Gutting (1942–2019) was an American philosopher who served as an endowed chair in philosophy at the University of Notre Dame. He was the father of the writer Tasha Alexander. His academic career focused on the field of philosophy, contributing to the discipline through his research and teaching at the university level.
