Gary Becker

Gary Stanley Becker was an American economist and a prominent leader of the third generation of the Chicago school of economics. He served as a professor of economics and sociology at the University of Chicago throughout his career. In 1992, he was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences for his contributions to the field.
