Andre Bazin
André Bazin was a French film critic and theorist who began writing about cinema in 1943. In 1951, he co-founded the influential film magazine Cahiers du cinéma alongside Jacques Doniol-Valcroze and Joseph-Marie Lo Duca. His work remains a foundational element of film criticism and theory.
